The Pathfinders Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist and benefit Rhode Island’s underserved populations as well as promote social consciousness through education and philanthropy.
With an emphasis on our philanthropic efforts, Pathfinders feels it is our social responsibility to recognize these individuals needing assistance. With continuing education services available to Rhode Island’s diverse population, The Pathfinder’s Foundation hopes to target specific areas of community members to help them find gainful employment and enhance their quality of life. Enrichment classes will be available to all, as well as a solid support system to help those individuals entering our programs. Medication Administration Course
Medication Administration Continuing Education Now Available!
Are you a current medtech in RI in need of C.E.U.’s for your recertification? Under R.I. law, all medtechs in licensed in RI require four (4) hours of continuing education per the Department of Health, approved by an accredited facility. The Pathfinders Foundation is happy to now offer “drop in” lectures for medication administration aides throughout the year. Each lecture consists of 4 hours, and is approved for (4) CEU credits. Medicaiton Aides may choose from a variety of topics and dates according to their scheduling needs.
Thursday August 13, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM EDT CNA's holding a current state license are given the opportunity to attain their medical administration certification over a period of fifteen weeks, by attending classes one (1) time per week for approximately three (3) hours at a time. At the end of the course a final exam is administered . All students with passing grades are certified.
CNA Training Course
Our CNA Training covers the topics the Dept of Health requires for CNA Training to prepare you for your State Exam. The health care field in RI offers great opportunities for jobs/careers that can provide long-term stability people need and want to make an appropriate income for ongoing employment and further career advancement. This CNA program is offered by Generations Comprehensive Health & Rehabilitative Services. Course start date is currently TBD. Classes will be held Monday thru Thursday 3pm-7pm at the Generations facility in Smithfield. To download the course flier, click here.
